Creating a Post Card

 

This project was a postcard meant to introduce the topic of a pictograph that I created soon after this. It was to display a topic, theme, and color scheme for the future project. I chose the blue/green color scheme with some neutral tan colors to fit the agricultural theme that I chose for the pictograph project. I tried to stick with the square and rectangular shapes throughout to be consistent and create repetition.

  Hello everyone! My name is Jourdyn Armstrong. I am a senior at Central Michigan University set to graduate in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  I am an intern in the appraisal department at GreenStone Farm Credit Services and I have been there for nearly two years. I am in the process of applying for full-time positions at GreenStone as I would like to stay employed there after graduation. Prior to working at GreenStone, I was employed in the CMU Sign Shop where I assisted with the signage around campus. I also had the opportunity to work with some of the programs and systems at the sign shop. Damaged Photo Repair

  This was my first project using Photoshop. In this project, I was asked to repair this older, damaged photo using Photoshop tools. The feedback that I received stated that the necklace was incomplete, there were strange lines in her chin, and there were shadowing issues with her right eye. I took a second look at the image and made changes to these problems. Below is my corrected image.  It can be seen that I was able to fill in the rest of her necklace. I used the clone stamping tool to fix this. I was also able to fix some of the lines in her chin by using the patch tool in Photoshop. Lastly, I used both the clone tool and the patch tool to fix the issues with her right eye. I am really happy with how I was able to fix these problems from my original submission.
